Weekday Activities
Building community does not just happen on Sunday mornings: each week there are various activities happening here at USR to help grow the connections between us and to deepen our own experiences.
We have book discussions, lecture series, a Wednesday Lunch Bunch, social justice team meetings, and affinity groups (for women, men, Younger AdUUlts, Parents of Children with Special Needs, and we can always add more!) Some meetings occur in person, others online. You'll find information about some below, and you can learn about others by signing up for our weekly emails. The weekly schedule goes out on Sunday afternoons.

Wednesday Lunch Bunch
Join us every Wednesday at noon for a BYO lunch in our Reeb conference room. With no agenda, the conversation ranges and offers a chance to make new friends. We spend about an hour together, sometimes with Rev. Sarah in attendance as well. Many of us go from the lunch to the Wednesday lecture series. Bring along your lunch, and join us!

Wednesday Lecture Series
Every Wednesday at 1:00 PM, the group meets in the Fellowship Room to watch and discuss an educational lecture series. The group is currently watching “Music and the Brain.” This 18-lecture series is an in-depth look at how we experience music; physically, emotionally and psychologically; as well as its evolution and neurological effects. All are welcome; no registration required.

Thursday Sole Hour
Community, Companionship & Conversation
Join us every Thursday from 11:15 AM to 12:30 PM in the Reeb conference room for meaningful discussion and connection. Each week, we explore a new topic—shared in advance—offering a welcoming space to reflect, share perspectives, and engage with fellow community members. Everyone is welcome!
