Children and Youth
As Unitarian Universalists, we believe in the right of every child to ask questions about our world and their role in it. We partner with families in supporting the natural unfolding of children's curiosity, introspection, and reflection through curricula designed to encourage deep engagement with one's own life and the society in which we are living. With curricula that address Health and Sexuality (OWL), Racial Justice (MOSAIC), Beliefs amidst the transition from childhood to youth (Coming of Age), World Religions (Building Bridges), and so much more, we are committed to age-appropriate learning that sparks joy and deep thinking.
Our Nursery
Each Sunday, we provide skilled nursery care for our youngest congregants. We believe that even infants and toddlers deserve respect and compassion as they explore their worlds. In a play space with safe toys and plenty of supervision, our littlest friends are able to build friendships in a comforting and loving environment. Many of our nursery attendees look forward all week to their time with us. Parents are welcome to stay in the nursery with their children, should their little ones need extra support. We provide a screen and audio, so that no one has to miss the service, and the infants and toddlers can hear the voices and songs of our community.
