Artist Statement
I am a professional drummer and vocalist. My intuitive, abstract artwork is informed by my experience as an improvising jazz musician. I draw inspiration especially from African and Aboriginal art and from my travels around the world.
During the stressful times of the Pandemic, drawing became both a comfort and an obsession.
In the 1960’s my dad worked as a graphic artist.
