Soles4Souls Fundraiser
I am pleased to report that our Soles 4 Souls shoe drive has been a huge success. The drive is still running through Dec 20th. At this point, we have boxed and sent 590 pairs of shoes. We still have a garage full and I am optimistic to get over 600 pairs. Souls4Soles has 3 primary goals:
- Sustainability: By putting unwanted shoes and clothing to good use, textiles are kept out of landfills.
- Health: Shoes and clothes prevent injuries and illnesses, and they provide dignity to people in need.
- Opportunity: Micro-entrepreneurs sell shoes to build businesses and support their families.
- Keep donating until Dec 20!
